Phew!..so many things are happening in the football world at devastating speed!..:P

Anywayz here’s a round up of footy news making the headlines:

Claudio Reyna Retires

33 year old Claudio Reyna has confirmed his retirement from international football after the United States’ exit from the World Cup,but he will continue to play for his club side -Manchester City.

“This was my last game,” Reyna said. “I decided that before the World Cup. It was clear that four years was too much time for the next one, so it just makes sense to stop now. It’s a good time to stop playing at a good level.”

I wish Reyna all the best in the world..he truly worked hard for his side, too bad they exited at an early stage, but i guess team USA are in good hands with some talented youngster that might peak in the next tournament.

Premiership Duo Klose-ing In

It is reported that Arsenal & Manchester United are attempting to bring Germany’s Miroslav Klose to the Premiership.

The 28-year-old Klose has found himself in the limelight with his four goals in three games helping hosts Germany reach the knockout stages of the World Cup.

But one wonder why both Premiership club are chasing him?..after all Arsenal already possess
some talented youngster to take over from Henry..and United already look good with RVN,Saha,Rooney..unless of course United do go ahead and sell Ruud..hmmm…

But Werder Bremen have warned Arsenal and Manchester United that Miroslav Klose is “not for sale”.

Kaka Signs 5 year Deal

Brazil’s Kaka has ended speculation about his future amid rumors of a switch to Real Madrid, and has signed a 5 year deal with AC Milan.

The news will come as a major boost to Milan, who recently sold star striker Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea for £30 million.

I’m wondering why Kaka signed a deal so early on?..surely his pals in the Brazil team would have knocked some sense into him?..especially the Real Madrid-Brazil players.

I’m not suggesting the Real is the best place for Kaka..cause it’s definitely NOT, but sure amid all the Italian match fixing scandal that’s going on..and the possibility of AC Milan playing in Serie B next year, you would have thought that Kaka would stall signing the contract…alas what is done is done.
