After some really good football last night,i hope it continues today with the teams involved..the knockout stage..it’s a beautiful thing!.

Ecuador,the suprise team in the last 16 will aim to prove that their qualification wasn’t just a fluke and will definitely want to put the nightmare game against Germany behind them,yet they have nothing to lose,the intense pressure is on England not to slip up.
England on the other hand will hope Wayne Rooney will live up to the hype surrounding him,and captain Becks to have a better performance than in previous games.The likes of Terry,Rio,Ashley Cole and Gary Neville (if fit) should be able to handle the Ecuadorians,though they did look weak against the Swedes.
but this is the knock out stage,expect magic from Joe Cole,Rooney anc co to take them through,anything less than an England win would be a disaster and you would expect the English fans singing “40 years who gives a ****“.

Ouch!..this games hurts me a little,cause i support 3 teams in this years tournament..Argentina,Holland & Portugal.

Mixed emotions here…but here’s my honest view of this game:
Portugal
v.s 
Holland
Holland go into this game with a young and emerging team,while Portugal too go into with a relatively young squad but for me portugal has that little ‘x factor’.
Again i say i just don’t know how this game will go…they will either play fast pace game similar to Argentina -Mexico or they will cancel out each other with tactics provided by master tacticians Van Basten & Scolari.
There’s no better time than today for Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud Van Nistelrooy to shine.

OOOOooooo..this is gonna be close..i wont predict the scoreline..but i’ll say ‘experience’ will win..and with that there’s no better coach with experience than Scolari…Portugal has proven themselves to play as a team (as in Iran Game)..very patient and organised…so i think..PORTUGAL will go through…but i wouldn’t mind a Dutch win either!!
