You know the saying, ‘Cometh the hour Cometh the man’?, that’s quite true in regards to Real Madrid and England’s David Beckham.
Sure,England played horriblely….but ‘Golden Ball’,'Becks’ or whatever you call him did extremely well with a beautifully taken freekick,which really doesn’t get any better than that as the shot looped over the wall and into the bottom left corner.
No goalkeeper in the world could have saved that in my opinion.

Becks though did admit that England played “Ugly”, Beckham said: “I don’t care. We have done our job. We were ugly at times but we are through.”
He also said: “To be honest I have not scored for a while and I’ve not scored many free-kicks this season.
“Wayne said I have been terrible in the last few games and Roberto Carlos texted me to score a goal for him so I am more than happy.”
