World Cup 2006 Round 2, Game 5 & 6

Here we are at Game 5 & 6 of the second round.After last nights debacle (portugal -holland) and poor showing by England,i hope tonight match is way better.

Than there’s (for me) the ‘boring’ matchup between Ukraine and Switzerland,i most probably won’t be watching this game unless i’m super hyper active and can’t sleep at night..as you would imagine i have nothing much to say about this game (game 6)

Totti
Italian hopes rest on his shoulder

It’s Guss Hiddink against the Azzurris..again, as the dutchman plotted the fall of the mighty Italians in 2002 when he was in charge of South Korea,and here he is again with another underdog team facing the Italians, match to savour to say the least.

The likes of Luca Toni,Totti,Gatusso,Nesta,Cannavaro have to perform to optimum level to have a hope of qualification..this is where it get’s intresting…

Who Will Win it?
Ouch…yet another game that is difficult to predict…in a footy match there’s 22 players who ALL know how to manipulate the ball to their advantage,i think the question is who will peak tonight?…who is the fittest out there today.

Having said that i expect Australia to trouble and frustrate the Italians as team USA did,but i still think Italy have that extra edge..i’m predicting an Italian 2-1 win.
