New Madrid president Ramon Calderon, has begun his work in re-establishing Madrid to it’s proper status -Champions.
In recent seasons Real have suffered humiliating results,poor form and the inability to keep a coach,the last time they ever won a silverware was before Becks arrived in 2003.
Italian Fabio Capello has returned for a second stint as coach of Real,and now has one of the most enviable jobs because of 2 reasons.
First,Ramon Calderon has announced a transfer kitty of $70 million and secondly he has already been aggresively in the transfer market saying that Arsenal’s wonderkid Cesc Fabregas is 70% on his way to Madrid.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there, appearantly Calderon is an avid Beckham fan and wants him to stay ‘forever’ saying “He’s a premium player, magnificent. All the supporters here are very much with him and of course he’s very important in the commercial area”
Yes, commercial ,that’s what it’s all about when it comes to Becks 
OOooooo..and it continues as Calderon goes on saying that Kaka,Robben & Ruud Van Nistelrooy are also on their way to Madrid…Galacticos part 2?
If all the above mention players really do play for Madrid next season,it would be nice to see..but i strongly believe Real as a club will suffer…haven’t they learned that ’stars’ can’t give them success? It really makes things worst..can you imagine the line-up?
Players like Casillas,Ruud,Kaka,Robinho,Zidane,Ronaldo,Robben,Carlos,Raul,Ramos,Cincinho
all in one team!!…
I remember the great Zizou once said that the reason for Madrid’s failure is because they have too many star players who have much too prove and have ego the size of footyball,and Zizou continued that with all the ’star’ tag it was hard for the coach to discipline the players and the players themselves couldn’t communicate with each other well because nobody wants to upset each other…dang…
But it also looks likely that Roberto Carlos will head to Chelsea and Ronaldo might be following suit.
By the way,guess who sneaked back to La Liga…..’Nando’………yup Fernando Morientes has joined Valencia.
Oh..did i mention that Saviola is on his way to the Premier League?
