Rumors are that Arsenal’s 25-year-old left back,Ashley Cole, will be headed to Stamford Bridge
by the end of the month for £16million.

The 25-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premiership champions and was even fined £75,000 after he was “tapped up” by Chelsea last January.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been an admirer for over 2 seasons now and will be delighted if they were succesful in their bid for Cole,as Asier Del Horno has proven to be a flop on the left side and is probably heading back to Spain soon.

Arsense Wenger would definitely be devastated,but could use the finance to bring in Juventus’s Lilian Thuram with Philippe Senderos out for two months with a shoulder injury picked up at the World Cup.

After Juve’s relegation, Thuram has made it clear there is “really little chance” he will play in Serie B and the 34-year-old could be destined for Highbury.
