It looks like Newcastle are set to futher enhance their side with attacking talent(s) and this time around the name that is being mentioned is Germany’s Miroslav Klose.

In reality though that doesn’t look possible, even after that miracle coup of hiring Duff’s services for a mere £5million from Chelsea.

Why would a top class striker, who scored 5 goals in the World Cup play for a club that is not even in the Champions League? nope..i can’t see this deal going through, it would be great if it did but nope i don;t think Klose will become a magpie anytime soon.

“Miroslav Klose is a top-drawer player, the leading scorer at the World Cup finals,” said Roeder in the Newcastle Journal.

“I think I will say what the chairman says, that I’m not ruling anyone in or out.”

However, Roeder added: “Klose could possibly be looking for a Champions League club after winning the Golden Boot.

“We perhaps don’t fit his remit if he were to move. But you can’t help but admire his ability.”
