The Italian Football Federation’s (FIGC) has decided to award “the fair team” and crown Inter Milan as the Champions of the 2005/06 season, the tilte was stripped from Juventus.
Juve also had their title win from 2004-05 revoked but no replacement winner will be named for that season.
The decision to give Inter their first title since 1989 came after a sports tribunal handed down guilty verdicts to Juventus, who had finished top of Serie A, AC Milan who were second and Lazio and Fiorentina.
What a lucky break for Inter! and definitely there will be a HUGE HUGE smile on a certain man named Marco Materazzi

That is so lame. If I were the club’s president, I would turn it down, because there’s no sense of satisfaction in “winning” it that way. Maybe the Italian FA should have a headbutting competition between Juventus and Inter Milan.
