The transfer of Manchester United’s Ruud van Nistelrooy took another twist today as Real Madrid announced that they have tabled a new and improved bid for the dutch foward.
Bayern Munich seemed to be Van Nistelrooy’s destination, but now with Madrid’s new bid he might just make his way to Spain.
The Bernabeu club confirmed the news today, with a spokesman saying: “The club have made a new offer and are waiting for reply from Manchester.”
It is unclear how much Real have bid for van Nistelrooy but reports suggest it may still be some way below United’s valuation of the player.
