Real Madrid fans may have seen the last of Denmark’s Thomas Gravesen.
Gravesen was involved in a training ground bust-up with fellow Madrid player Robinho,appearantly Robinho was disgusted at Gravesen’s harsh tackle during pre-season training in Austria.
New coach Fabio Capello ain’t to please with the incident either, saying “His behaviour? I don’t like it, he wants everyone to do what he wants, and I have told him so.”
The 30-year-old has failed to nail down a regular first-team place at the Santiago Bernabeu since joining Madrid from Everton 18 months ago.
On Wednesday his agent John Sivebaek told BBC Sport that Gravesen is ready to return to England, but played down reports linking him with Newcastle.
Sivebaek said: ‘He loved England and he is only 30 so he could still play at the top level. So why not move back to England?
Could he be headed to Newcastle? don’t count that possibility out as the Toons are looking for a midfielder and with the capture of the more creative Damien Duff i’m pretty sure they would also want to beef up the midfield area as well.
