Man Utd’s Alan Smith says his long layoff (7 months) from footy has fueled his desire to suceed even more at Utd.

The 25-year-old former Leeds United striker is making remarkable progress after breaking a leg in January in an FA Cup defeat by Liverpool and could return in two weeks.

Cheers to Alan who has always had a fantastic attitude, the lad deserves the little stroke of luck that has come along his path, a truly fast recovery indeed.

I hope Sir Alex play’s him up front again instead of a makeshift midfield man, Smith was always good in the air and a potential partnership with Rooney would be an exciting prospect not only for Utd but even for England in the long run.
