Five-time world champions Brazil will take on Wales for a friendly match on the 5th of September 2006 at White Heart Lane (Spurs), but Wales coach John Toshack ain’t to pleased with it.
Although the fixture has now been confirmed, it leaves huge problems for manager Toshack and the Wales administrative staff.
It is believed that manager Toshack was not too keen on the match going ahead at such short notice, having already agreed that Wales would only take up one of the September dates for internationals.
The manager did not want to overburden his players and upset their clubs by arranging friendlies during the busy period.
Liverpool and Manchester United are unlikely to want Craig Bellamy and Ryan Giggs to be involved in a friendly international a week before a round of Champions League games.
Not really a game to look foward to than..since Giggs and Bellamy might not play..but the fixture on the 2nd of September Brazil against Argentina at Arsenal’s new stadium is a mouthwatering prospect!
