The experienced but injury prone full back Hatem Trabelsi of Tunisia will now play for Manchester City.
The experienced full-back was forced to come through a series of stringent medical tests before agreeing what is believed to be a pay-as-you-play deal with the Blues.
Once courted by Manchester United and Arsenal, Trabelsi’s ability is not in question but a series of knee injuries have placed a question mark over his durability.
I do remember the days when Arsenal & Man Utd were chasing him, but indeed a series of injuries has prevented both clubs from futher pursuing the matter.
This is quite a capture by Man City, their sixth close season signing thus far, manager Stuart Pearce was extremtly delighted and had this to say “He is one of the best Bosmans of the summer,He has played at the highest level for Ajax, and been to three World Cups. He captains his country as well, so it is a good CV.”
