Is Carlos Tevez bound to replace Ruud Van Nistelrooy at Old Trafford?
Man Utd fans are hoping that the powerful foward can form a devastating partnership with Wayne Rooney, but Tevez’s current club, Brazil’s Corinthians has denied reports that they are on the negotiating table with Utd for Tevez, in a statement earlier today this is what Corinthians had to say:
‘Corinthians and Media Sports Investments (MSI) wish to state that the rumours about the sale of Carlos Tevez to Manchester United are not correct.
‘MSI have never received an offer or had any contact from the English team about the forward.’
Ok, so that’s the official statement, but how many times have we seen over and over again a club denies any transfer bid but only to sell the player in the end?
But of course that doesn’t mean Tevez is absolutely Utd bound as Chelsea’s Roman Abromovich has some stakes in MSI and i don’t think he’ll give up on a player with such qualities that easily 
In the meantime Tevez’s Corinthians teammate and also Utd target midfielder Javier Mascherano is unsettled at the club after an altercation on Thursday.
The Argentina international was the victim of a hard foul by Marcelinho Carioca in a scrimmage, and after complaining to the head coach Geninho and shoving Marcelinho, Mascherano left the club’s training facilities.
It looks best if both players were to leave the club as the internal feud has left the club stranded at the bottom of the table in the Brazilian first division with just 13 points from 14 games and having lost 7 of their last 9 matches.
