Manchester United have finally made an offer for Bayern Munich’s Owen Hargreaves.
The 25-year-old Hargreaves in a statement said “The offer from Manchester United is fantastic,Particularly as an England international, it is of interest and you never know if such an opportunity will arise again.
Now is the time to take the next step to develop even further.”
A bid in the range of £15million is expected as Bayern are reluctant to lose yet another midfielder to the Premiership after losing Ballack to Chelsea.

Bayern Munich will not be listening to offers for midfielder Owen Hargreaves, despite interest from Manchester United.
Bayern deperately want to keep the midfield man after losing the influential Ballack to Chelsea.
“I have just spoken with (general manager) Uli Hoeness and he is absolutely clear that selling Owen Hargreaves is not an issue,” said Bayern press officer Markus Horwick.
“He has recently signed a three-year contract extension and will be fulfilling that deal.”
