Porto appoint Ferreira
Porto have officially appointed former Boavista coach Manuel Jesualdo Ferreira as their coach for the new season after the resignation of Co Adriaanse at the helm of the Portuguese champions.
It was earlier rumored that Man Utd’s assistant coach Carlos Queiroz was the main target of Porto but that has now been officially settled, so Queiroz stays at Utd and Ferreira takes charge of Porto.
