£8million, that’s how much Premiership side Bolton Wanderers have paid Fenerbahce for the 27-year-old Nicolas Anelka.
The fee dwarfs the previous top mark of £3.5million paid to Wimbledon for Dean Holdsworth in 1997.
Big Sam has finally bought a player below the age of 30! ;), Anelka is a good player and in fact before there was Thiery Henry there was Anelka a suprising fact considering that Anelka is 2 years younger.
