ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane has been confirmed as Sunderland’s new manager after manager-chairman Niall Quinn decided the manager role was just not for him.
It comes as a suprise to many of Keano’s appointment, as experienced as he is as a player he is a total noob at being a manager, and it would be a shock of gigantic porpotions if Sunderland gains promotion to the top flight in Keane’s first year in charge, Keano is just 35-years old.
“Keane and the club have agreed terms for him to be appointed as manager, and it is envisaged that he will sign a formal contract immediately after Sunderland’s game against West Brom tomorrow.”
