Napoli’s victory over Juventus in the Coppa Italia which ended all hopes of Juve to play in europe might have cost them more than just the Coppa.

Manchester United are considering bringing David Trezeguet to the theatre of dreams to form a partnership with Wayne Rooney.Rumours of his exit increased further on Sunday when he was left out of Juve’s line-up against Napoli, although Juve has said that it was due to the poor fitness form of Trezeguet.

So will yet another frenchman make his way to Old Trafford?

I’ve said many times that United should bring in a striker before the close of the transfer market
and it looks likely now that they might do just that.

It’s plainly evident that United are already beefed up in midfield and their three wins in a row in the Premiership has proven that point.Trezeguet would be a good addition as he is really a threat in ariel battles, he’s more likely to score with his head than his feet.

Reports suggest Trezeguet could cost as much as £17million that’s just 1 million short of Carrick’s fee.

Whatever it is though..United should never allow him to take a penalty ;)
