According to 200 people who participated in the poll, Manchester United have started the new season better than anyone else, and i can’t argue with that.
Portsmouth have been the suprise package so far and if i’m being honest i didn’t think Kanu would perform as he did, otherwise i would have taken him for my fantasy team!.
Chelsea have underperfomed so far, yeah they got 2 wins but they haven’t really showed any kind of form or ‘wow factor” that Champions normally show.Liverpool didn’t start to well but Rafa Benitez has assembled a good team this season i wouldn’t be surprise if they finished 2nd this season, the only reason they haven’t really performed is because the team is so new, it will take some time for them to gel together and Benitez is just the man for the job and if you have players like Daniel Agger who can crack a shot from anywhere than you have all possibilities.
Arsenal really really haven’t showed anything this season, it’s sad really as they have a beautiful new stadium but the combination of injuries, Henry’s poor fitness levels, lack of defenders have seen them gain just 1 point from two games, not a good start for title contenders.
Arsene Wenger though seems to be up to something as reports today suggest that Arsenal have launched a bid for Carlos Tevez.Man Utd have turned their attentions to David Trezeguet so maybe this is Arsenal’s chance to grab the youngster..and what a combo it would be!..Henry - Tevez *drools*.
So congrats to Man Utd so far for winning 3 times in a row with pratically the same old team, but than again United faithfull will know that they did win their first 3 games last season only to go into September with a dreadful form that saw United only capable of snatching 2 points in the whole month, United never recovered from that and their late surge in form didn’t help them much as Chelsea won the title (but keep in mind Chelski only won it by 4 points), and with Tottenham and Arsenal to come in their next games i don’t think they’re taking it easy….
