Hard tackling midfield man Mark van Bommel has completed his €6 million move to Bayern Munich from Spanish champions Barcelona.
Bayern’s Felix Magath quickly pointed out that the arrival of Van Bommel doesn’t mean Hargreaves will make a move to Old Trafford (wow..he read my mind).
Instead Van Bommel is viewed as a direct replacement of Michael Ballack who left for Chelsea.
Van Bommel signed a three-year contract with the German champions and believes they can progress in the Champions league this season. “Let’s see what we can do in Europe, Bayern always has a strong team that allows it to perform well there, “ announced the Dutch international.
