Martin Jol believes his foward line is complete with the permanent addition of Mido from Roma.
Mido already had a spell at White Heart Lane last season (18 months) but he was just on loan.

This time around Jol decided to sign the striker for £4m.During his loan spell at the Lane Mido scored 11 goals in 27 appearances and is now set to join the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane in the Spurs frontline.

“Roma took some persuading and I’m delighted to have him in the squad.

“He knows I like him as a player, his strength in the air and his mentality. It’s an excellent addition to the squad and our striking options are now complete.” Martin Jol explained.

In the meantime there is also fresh rumors that Wigan’s Pascal Chimbonda is set to join Mido and co after Tottenham agreed to offload Korean Lee Young-Pyo to Roma.Jol has always been a fan of Chimbonda and has seen his bid turned down before, but maybe Spurs will up the ante and Wigan might just cave in to the new offer.
