Man Utd’s Louis Saha says that he is not at all burdened by the departure of Ruud Van Nistelrooy to Real Madrid.
I can agree with him there, Saha has always given 100% and his start at United were hampered by constant injuries but if he can stay injury free this season i believe he will show his true potential as he did with Fulham.
The 28-year-old Saha has not let Sir Alex Ferguson down yet, scoring four times in six appearances, including his first two goals ever in the Champions League.
“Ruud leaving has had no effect on me,” he said. “It has not changed the way I approach games. I still do all the same things. I work hard and do my best, as I always have.
“I don’t think there is any extra pressure on me to score either because we have plenty of other players capable of doing that. I just need to keep taking my chances in order to keep my place.”
