Got an e-mail today from Alan Spurgeon of footy-boots.com regarding a recent online poll for the best brand of football boots.
Adidas have been crowned the “Best Boot”, although i personally prefer the brand that came in second in the poll - Nike.I like Nike for many reasons, the comfort, the style, the elegance, the design..ok scratch that; I only bought a Nike because of Sharapova :).
A massive 47% of voters chose Adidas as their favoured brand of football boots,
which will no doubt please the German sporting goods company.
The independent poll placed American company Nike in second place with a third
of the voters, followed by Puma with less than 10% of votes.
These figures will be a massive boost for Adidas, who this year were the
official sponsors of the FIFA World Cup and bought American rival company
Reebok in a 3.1bn euro deal.
