Chelsea FC has vehemently denied claims that they are pouring sand on the surface to stiffle Barcelona’s free flowing creative play when the Catalan giants visit Stamford Bridge in the Champions League clash on 18th of October.
They (Chelsea) claim that it’s just part of routine pitch management and it is done now as the Premier League takes a break while the International (Euro) qualifiers are going on.
