Chelsea FC showed some brilliant display of footy skills and determination to see off the threat of Everton 3-2, thanks yet again to the brilliant Didier Drogba.
Mr. “I’m The Special One” Jose Mourinho must be all smiles as he not only saw his side made a stride foward but also had the opportunity to see rivals Man Utd slip at West Ham.I really think that if Chelsea can somehow lead the table before the New Year than Utd are in serious trouble, Chelsea most definitely have a better and bigger squad to cope with the final months of EPL compared to Man Utd.
The funny thing is Utd did play well against West Ham, creating vast amount of chances but lacking in the finishing department, this is where Henrik Larsson may play a very important role because he is just one of the best finishers in the game and in fact Larsson was present at the game sitting just behind the Man Utd subs bench.
West Ham players must have been boosted with the arrival of new manager Alan Curbishley and the players carried their new found enthusiasm to the pitch with Nigel Reo-Coker grabbing the all important and decisive goal to ensure their manager starts with a winning tempo and also condemn Utd’s lead at the top to just 2 points. If memory serves me right the last game Curbishley was in charge (Charlton) was a losing game against Utd, if that is true that what a joy it must have been to snatch a victory.
Things are shaping up beautifully in the Premier League, i can’t wait for the Boxing Day fixtures ![]()

I’m tired of Chelsea salvaging games within the last few minutes. With all their stars, they should dominate. Theyre getting like Real Madrid last season
