A few months ago he was labeled an ‘extra’ and kinda like a reject in the eyes of the management team at Barcelona, Saviola however has taken it his stride and good favour shone on him when Samuel Eto’o was sidelined which allowed the petite Argetinian a chance to play for Barca more regularly.
He has now been awarded a new contract at the Nou Camp as he struck three times as Barca knocked Alaves out of the Spanish Cup with a 3-2 victory (5-2 on aggregate).
I personally rate this player highly ever since i saw him play with Monaco, i can’t understand why some still don’t believe in his talent but it now looks to be a thing of the past, unless of course Eto’o comes back to magnificient form..hmmm.
