A few days ago former Brazil and now Portugal coach,Scolari, hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo should move to Barcelona in order to fully recognize his potential.Scolari says that he has worked with Ronaldinho and Cristiano and believes that the duo would complement each other on the field with Barca.

There were also rumors that Real Madrid made a bid last summer and are ready to make a fresh offer for the Portugese…but is this rumors to be taken for truth?

Most probably the answer is a YES, Cristiano has been on fire this season and has banged in 16 goals in the premiership, quite a great feat considering he is not an out and out striker.Manchester United in the meantime are not resting on their laurels and have offered Ronaldo a cool 5 year £26million contract that will keep him at the club till 2012.

The new offer will also see him elevated alongside top earners like Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand on £100,000 a week.
