Totti is the best player in the Roma’s team. MU have had some lucky to win 7 1 because last week Roma had to win 3 0 and with this score the tuesday’s match was not the same.
Now we could see a real italian team against this lucky MU.

Yes, i agree Luck had nothing to do with it, it so happened that United hit form that night and Roma were torned apart by some brilliant goals, 3 goals in under 20 minutes in the quaterfinals of the Champions League and against an Italian defence!..just brilliant.

I’m a Liverpool fan, but my god was that Man Utd game a joy to watch. When you Man U get their game flowin, they are simply the best. Way better than Chelsea. They have the right players in the right positions and they all seem to gel. I have respect for Man U and Arsenal because they have crafted themselves some good teams, Chelsea kinda bought their way there. Not that I’m complainin, I think the English game is the best at the moment, think we are better than the Spanish League now as can be seen by the 3 english clubs in the semis, arsenal in last years final and liverpool winners in 2005. What exciting times it is in for the premiership clubs these days. As for Roma, I think they are a good team, but I think Serie A has really gone down a level since the match fixing scandal. All the good players went to Inter who were the only team with money and no cheats. Also Juventus, Fiorentina and AC Milan were not able to really compete for the league so is Roma really the second best team in the league…maybe not. But still, 7-1…maybe wouldn’t have been 7-1 on another day, think it was one of those nights were evrything went right. but by all means it was not lucky. Even if it was Watford they ebat 7-1, that would be amazing, but Roma…wow. My head says United will win the Champions League (although AC Milan are not an AS Roma), but my heart says Liverpool. C’mon the premiership. How scary would it be if it was Liverpool vs Man Utd :-s

AC Milan are going to have some major problems i would think with the pace of Ronaldo,Rooney and even giggs and the likes of Saha and Vidic might be back in action.

HA! what a spanking! The only players that ManU should be worried about is definatley KaKa, Seedorf, and Inzagi (even though he’s like a million years old). Ronaldo has to good of pace and ball handeling skills, and of course there’s Rooney…the greatest of them all. As soon as Vidic and Saha come back we can stop playing stupid ol’ Alan Smith. ARghhh. For those of you that are saying that milan will have trouble keeping up with ManU should think again. C. ronaldo and the youngins’ can do all the running they want…milan always defends deep and if on form they are one of the hardest defenses to breach, as you saw in Bayern match. All of the players have incredible amount of experience which can sometimes overwhelm pace. Kaka is probably the only one that has pace and good ball control but milan have a lot of players that will be at the right spot at the right time and all it takes is that one ball from pirlo and all the pace in the world won’t help you then. So, manchester fans who think this will be a breeze, think again because milan know VERY well what needs to be done and have the capability and experience to do it. The only let down that milan has is that the years of experience come with a great cost because often times the older players are not on form and dida sometimes…daydreams.

Well!! i am a die hard man utd fan, and the win against roma that fatefull night was almost orgasmic, but as much as i would love do dwell into dat moment, i knw how hard it would be to beat milan, especially having lost to them already in previous match, and if dats not enough i hope man utd doesnt bring the form they brought when they played against pompy in the league clash where they lost 2-1, dat hurt. so having said dat, i prefer being skeptical as well as optimistic, dat we can find ourselves in the 1998/1999 spot light again.

i don’t think that de rossi’s goal the other night was world class at all-i thought that van der sar didn’t produce a very good effort to save the goal, not that it made alot of difference to the game…totti also wasted numerous chances for roma to improve the state of their scoresheet against an on-fire man.utd, by simply not considering his options when if was infront of goal, instead he just took a shot and in those instances he missed.

Manchester United played a solid game; they completely dominated in attack. However, a poor Roma defense helped United take such a substantial lead. Also, it is true that Totti is somewhat arrogant, but in all honesty, the whole population of England and their football fans are also arrogant, so don’t accuse a player who speaks out noticed when a nation holds the same values in their minds. Roma has the ambition to win, but lacks the experience, solidarity, and form that Manchester United clearly have shown.
