The four remaining teams in the Champions League are Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Ac Milan, and after the first leg of the semi-final it seems like Chelsea and Manchester United hold the advantage of progressing to the Final in Athens.

Ac Milan played really well at Old Trafford unlike their Italian counterpart, Roma, who suffered a humaliating 7-1 defeat.Kaka was the star for the Milan side with his two goals but while the spotlight was on Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo a certain Wayne Rooney decided to steal the limelight with two brilliant goals that ensured Man Utd head to the San Siro with a 3-2 win in the bag, the 2 away goals they conceeded might haunt them but that last gasp goal by Rooney could prove to be decisive.

Chelsea’s Joe Cole provided the team with a slender lead to take back to Anfield but it might just be enough and not conceeding a goal at the Bridge is a massive plus point.Liverpool played below par but they have a chance rectify that in a week’s time and if they do overturn their result and AC Milan also do the same than we have a repeat of the 2005 final on our hands.
