A little sidetrack to NBA today with the news that Tony Parker (Eva Longoria’s man) was voted a MVP (Most Valuable Player)and clinch his 3rd NBA title with San Antonio Spurs, but the Frenchman (I didn’t know he was french!!) says that he will never eclipse the popularity of Zinedine Zidane in his home country.
“Zidane is always going to be the man in France because soccer is so popular,” Parker said of the former Real Madrid playmaker who helped his country win the World Cup in 1998.
“But, hopefully, French people can realise what I accomplished - three championships in five years, that’s not bad,” added Parker.”

And look who showed up to see Tony play, one of his best friends! It was funny watching the games here in the states. Everytime the cameras who show Tony’s fiancé, he would be sitting right next to her and they would new mention it! Funny, but as a Yank I have to say so sad and typical!
