Not wanting to rest on his laurels and definitely not wanting to finish third again in the Premiership Liverpool’s Rafa Benitez is said to be ready to make a move for Porto’s Ricardo Quaresma.
Am i dreaming or is there a possibility that Portugese trio of Ronaldo, Nani and Quaresma all playing in the Premiership next season?, that’s sweet news and i really really can’t wait for next season which is about a month away.
The Portuguese winger has been heavily linked with Atletico Madrid, but Liverpool are an outside bet to gain his signature. They’ve already allegedly had a £13.5m bid rejected, but are confident that an improved offer could change Porto’s minds.
Atletico, too, have apparently considered an offer in that region, but also included additional payout clauses based on results and performances.

Quaresma is about the best player for lfc wing now. He scores terrific goals and he’s not bad at passing. He also entertains which is something good for lfc. I would love to see him play behind torress with Ryan Babel, Gerrard alonso and mascherano playing in midfield and aurelio, agger carragher and arbeloa in defense. Reina in goal.
