West Ham has completed the signing of fiery striker Craig Bellamy from Liverpool for £7.5 million , futher fueling rumors that Tevez is on his way to Old Trafford.
The transfer had been agreed at the weekend, only to be held up by arguments over a bonus payment the 27-year-old said he was owed.
The fee is a club record for the Hammers, who were recently turned down by Darren Bent despite agreeing a £17 million fee for the then-Charlton man.
Bellamy is the Hammers’ third major signing of the summer, following Scott Parker and Julien Faubert into Upton Park.
