Chelsea’s new signing,Florent Malouda, sparked a revival of sorts for Chelsea in their friendly game against Club America of Mexico on Saturday.The english club were trailing 1-0 in the first half thanks to Mosqueda, 22, who opened the scoring with a lazy shot that deflected off Terry and caught Chelsea keeper Petr Cech on the hop.
Malouda was introduced in the second half and scored the equaliser when Club America keeper Armando Navarrete dropped a cross by Sam Hutchinson right on his foot,John Terry completed the win with a header off Malouda’s free kick.
