Arsenal are not mature enough to win the EPL, though other trophies are not unimaginable. Let’s look at last season, they transcended a table of the Big Four results didn’t they? Because Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool allowed Arsenal to play their game. Its physical and defensive teams like Bolton and West Ham that stops Arsenal from playing.
As I have previously said, don’t worry about Henry, remember Anelka, Overmars, Vieira? Wenger is smart in selling his best players just as they begin to wane. The main vexation is the depth and experience of the squad.
Though Fabregas has been a revelation last season with his creative game, the midfield pairing with Gilberto sometimes does not work against tougher oppositions. At the back, Lehmann was poor last season, so hopefully this Fabianski character can take over the mantel, though I felt Germany’s third choice, Hildrebrand would’ve been a super signing. Oh well.
As for the full backs, Sagna’s addition to the squad will give push Eboue to the right midfield, to add a bit of steel in attack with his raiding runs, though Eboue’s character is bothersome. Hleb and Rosicky are not natural wingers, they seem more comfy playing in the middle. And Walcott looks better as a striker than a winger, looking at last season’s showing.
I’m not a fan of Adebayor, though he does give Arsenal options, instead of being too one dimensional. It’s Van Persie’s year to shine, and both will need their finishing boots to convert chances. Eduardo, has a colorful resume, so there could be pyrotechnics or otherwise.
With so much uncertainty, Arsenal face an ambitious season. Nevertheless, the Gunners will be worth watching once again. As for silverware, I’m not counting on it just yet.

Yes, i think Sagna bring that bit of balance in defence, not to mention probably the starting backfour are well versed in French.
