Reading must be wondering how on earth they got Man Utd and Chelsea in a back to back game at the start of the season, but they did reasonably well and managed to hold United to a 0-0 draw and today it looked like they were going to pull a surprise as they went ahead through Andre Bikey after an error from Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, and had numerous chances to double their lead, most notably through John Oster, who smashed a shot onto the wookwork.

However some brilliant substitutions (Obi Mikel & Pizarro) at half time by Mourinho payed off when Chelsea scored thier first through Frank Lampard within two minutes of the restart,Didier Drogba than grabbed the winner moments later, curling home a precise shot from just outside the area after being teed up by Salomon Kalou.

Reading can holf their heads up high though, they have done quite well and played like a team that could be in the top 10 come May 2008.
