Man Utd suffered a blow earlier today as they lost to Man City 1-0 and it did really look like the team were struggling without a proper striker (except Tevez) and they definitely miss Rooney and Ronaldo, it now seems that Sir Alex is interested to roped in a striker that has Premier League pedigree to kickstart Utd’s season and has turned his attentions to Le Sulk a.k.a Nicolas Anelka.

In truth Anelka would be a good addition to the team as he has pace and can take on defenders and create a goal for himself plus he already has premier league experience and i think after losing all 3 games for Bolton he wouldn’t mind an escape route.

Utd however will face stiff competition with West Ham who have tabled a £10m bid after failing to lure Barcelona’s Eidur Gudjohnsen .

Will Sir Alex go on with the deal or will he somehow conjure up some unknown deal similar to that of Henrik Larsson?
