It was a dissapointing week for Chelsea as the transfer window deadline prevented them from signing Ronaldinho from Barcelona and they succumb to a 2-0 lost to Aston Villa, while title contenders Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal all grabbed 3 points with Liverpool routing Derby County 6-0.

Zat Knight enjoyed a dream debut for Aston Villa as he opened the scoring and then helped keep a clean sheet in a shock 2-0 win over Chelsea at Villa Park.

Knight’s header from a Gareth Barry corner just after half-time gave Villa the lead, and the hosts then defended superbly for the remainder of the game.

Gabriel Agbonlahor then put the icing on the win as he deflected home an Ashley Young shot two minutes from time.

For those that took Fernando Torres in their fantasy footy team than they would enjoy a really good amount of points as the striker looked lively and scored a brace against Derby.

Man Utd however had to struggle to beat Sunderland, a first return for Roy Keane as manager to Old Trafford, Louis Saha came off the bench to secure all three point for United.

Arsenal, for me, have been brilliant.

Many critics said they would struggle without Henry, but they have prove otherwise with free flowing footy and scoring a bunch of goals as Adebayor, Rosicky and Fabregas placed their name on the scoresheet, congrats to the young Arsenal team.
