Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba is ready to leave Stamford Bridge as he feels “furious and upset” that Chelsea have parted company with manager Jose Mourinho.
The 29-year-old might not be alone in his quest to leave as Frank Lampard, “Mourinho’s most trusted on-field general,” has only 21 months left on his current contract and has stalled on negotiating a new one.Michael Essien, Portuguese stars Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira are also said to be pondering making a move away from the London club, Carvalho was particularly distressed as he shunned the advances of Real Madrid in the summer in the believe that Mourinho will remain as head coach of Chelsea FC.
AC Milan has stated an interest in bringing Drogba to Serie A and are prepared to make a £25 million bid for him, but i’m sure many other clubs will be fighting for his signature as well.
