From what I was told, the Sunderland game should’ve been a foregone conclusion by the time the referee blew for first half. This young side lack focus, though they seem to believe in their abilities. I still feel this side is not matured enough to do this over 38 games. That 2003/04 INVINCIBLES were a one off and the EPL will never see that record repeated (though Chelski came close).
I still don’t see Arsenal as championship material - maybe in the next season. They still make basic errors of judgment, and sometimes ride their luck. Van Persie, Fabregas and Toure - the new engine for the Gunners. Lately, this team knows how to mix up their play. From outside the box shots, to headers to everything.
How many of Arsenal’s goals this season came in the last 15 minutes? Whatever it is, their biggest test awaits them on the 28th @ Anfield.
