It was an entertaining derby game but heartbreak for Everton fans as a brace from the penalty spot by Dirk Kuyt (his first goals of the season in the Premiership) ensured Liverpool grabbed all three points from their cross town rivals.
Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville were giving their marching orders in the game which lead to both penalties after Hyypia’s own goal gave Everton the lead.I must say i did enjoy Neville’s red card incident, it was handball in the closing stages of the game and in fact it was a wonderful save by Neville, he should consider playing as a keeper one fine day since his a utility player and all.
