Last month i posted about 17-year-old Macauley Chrisantus who was the subject of interest of Man City,Ajax,Arsenal,Barcelona,Real Madrid and Man Utd.Chrisantus walked away with two awards in South Korea (2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup); he won the golden boot scoring 7 goals, and was voted 2nd most influential player (2 assists) after Germany’s Toni Kross, making him one of the most sort after player in Europe but German club Hamburg suprised many when they announced today that the Nigerian has signed a contract with them.

The Nigerian’s arrival was announced by Sporting director Dietmar Beiersdorfer on Tuesday.

“We have been in contact for a long time” explained Beiersdorfer. “Our concept convinced his family and his advisor. With us he will find the time and opportunities he needs in order to develop.”
