Royston Drenthe, the Real Madrid player is said to be facing the axe from the club as coach Bernd Schuster has little faith in the Dutch Under-21 international especially after television pictures of Drenthe listening to music whilst on the bench during Real’s 1-1 draw on Saturday away to Murcia.

Chelsea and Barcelona were among the contenders to sign the talented 20-year-old in the summer but Madrid beat them to it, Drenthe can play as a left winger or left back and for holland he even had a short spell on the right, he kinda reminds me of Clarence Seedorf and Edgar Davids except he does possess some nifty foot skills, kinda like Seedorf + Ronaldinho.
