It was a good game at Anfield and i’m glad Man Utd came out winners with a Tevez goal settling the game, my man of the match has to be Anderson, in the past i have criticised him but with every game he gets under his belt he is proving to be a valued member of the team, his tackles and vision is exceptional, not to mention his superb control of the ball in tight situations, i am truly impressed and for Sir Alex to place him in the starting 11 and leave Carrick on the bench speaks volume of what the coach thinks of the player.

Liverpool were awarded truckloads of freekicks throughout the match and it’s very suprising that they didn’t make full use of it.

United climbed up the table and stoof at the top albeit for only a few hours as Arsenal has regained top spot by beating Chelsea with a similar scoreline.
