There’s a suprise transfer move going on now as Chelsea have made a £10m Bid for Barcelona’s Dos Santos, Sir Alex Ferguson who is building his team on youngsters is keen to outbid Chelsea and bring the talented Mexican to Old Trafford.
Dos Santos has been likened to Ronaldinho by those who have seen him come up the ranks, and his stock seems to be rising in the Premiership.
Chelsea assistant coach Henk Ten Cate knows the youngster all too well from his days at Barcelona - thought Giovani was playing with the B team then - and seems to have recommended him to boss Avram Grant.
With the Mexican forward’s future at the Catalan club far from certain as he looks for regular football - he is supposedly unhappy that he has fallen behind Bojan Krkic in the pecking order - Chelsea have decided to step in with a £10million bid.
