Poor old Aston Villa, they must have expected the worst when the draw was made that Man utd were coming to town for the 3rd round of the FA CUP,Ronaldo and Rooney did the job in the last 10 minutes of the game to ensure that Man Utd keep up their trend of beating Villa in the FA CUP.
A dire encounter at Villa Park was turned on its head in the closing stages thanks to the introduction of Manchester United substitute Wayne Rooney.
Both sides lacked ideas for most of the game, with defenders on top, but took a late lead through Cristiano Ronaldo.
As Villa pushed for to level things up, a brilliant Rooney strike in front put the game beyond doubt. Manchester United’s tremendous record at Villa Park continues.

The game was unbearable, no enthuasiasm and no action. Was happy to see 2 goals thou but the game was boring. Hopefuly there will be some improvement.
