It was on the cards but i didn’t expect it to be so soon, only eight months into the job and Big Sam is out of a job as he parted ways with Newcastle on “mutual agreement”.
Allardyce had been jeered by fans this season after failing to impress with his favored style of play, a direct, combative approach that brought him relative success at Bolton. He won just eight of his 24 matches at Newcastle.
“A new manager has not yet been appointed at Newcastle United,” Newcastle said in a statement on its Web site. “We will make a further announcement on the managerial position when appropriate.
“The decision has been reached by mutual agreement.”
Many fans want former striker and club captain Alan Shearer to take over despite him having no managerial experience.
First team coach Nigel Pearson will lead the team for Saturday’s Premier League game at Manchester United.
Newcastle fans must be one of the worst and least patient of all fans, can they really expect much from a guy that is just 8 months into the job? and now they want Alan Shearer to take charge even though he has no prior experience?!@
