Bayern, and to a certain extent Inter Milan, are the 2 other clubs that I’ve supported apart from Arsenal. WHY? Because my favorite player used to play for both teams. When I first started following football (1990), the country I supported in the group stage went on the win the World Cup, and their captain became my favorite player until he retired in the late 90s. Lothar Matthaus.
I remembered how Matthaus, Klinsmann and Brehme helped Inter win the Serie A. That’s when my love affair with German football began. Clinical. No drama bullshit. Clinical, and deadly. I first heard of Klinsmann joining Liverpoo a few weeks ago and was shocked. The thought of a German coaching the scousers. I shuddered with disgust. My loyalty was severely tested. Thank God that didn’t happen.
Liverpoo get to keep Benign-ass as their manager, and hopefully if McLaren or some dimwit called Alladyrce takes the helm. That would be fun. I remember most of my Liverpoo-supporting friends hated Mourinho. I kinda like the guy for his eccentricities. Now if he were to join Liverpoo, you’ll see the fans becoming hypocrites like they always do.
Klinsmann @ Bayern may be a dream come true for German football. The Munich side, needs a change of style and Klinsmann (after what he has done with Germany in 2006) would be the right person for the job. The only issue remains on whether he can last a season. I await with enthusiasm.

Bayern has always been a “mini-Germany” of sorts, so i guess Klinsmann will feel right at home.
It’s interesting to see what will happen to Bayern next season, they already have good players in the team and they bought well this season, how on earth they managed to attract Ribery to a club thats not in the champs league this season is still a mystery to me (or maybe money speaks louder..).
Anywayz, Klinsmann has done well with the German team and though he is highly rated i feel he hasn’t really been put to the test yet as a manager/coach, but hopefully he does well with Bayern.
