Giuseppe Rossi has been on sensational form with his new club Villareal and now it seems that Man Utd are interested in re-signing the youngster and that is a big possibility because of a clause in the contract when Utd sold him to Villareal, Rossi’s teammate at the spanish club, Rob Pires, also believes that the Italian could very weel be heading back to Old Trafford.
When asked about his thoughts on Manchester United’s option in Rossi’s contract, Pires told setantasports.com: “I expected it because I know their mentality and they want to keep the good players.
“They can’t fail to miss such a good player so I have no doubts he will return there.
“He is a very good young striker who already has a great mentality. He is a goalscorer, you can see it every day at training.
“He is obsessed by scoring. He is tomorrow’s great attacker and I enjoy playing with him because I don’t know if he is going to stay at Villarreal.”
