It was to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s day again as he scored a brace that ensured Man Utd claim sole possesion of the top spot with only 8 games to go, he has now outscored United legend George Best and has a tally of an astonishing 24 goals so far in the Premiership, what makes it even more astonishing is that he is a winger and not a striker and the fact that he has established fowards like Rooney and Tevez to compete with!.
United showed their intent right from the whistle with the returning Louis Saha and Carlos Tevez combining on the edge of the area with the Ricardo Gardner being called into action to turn the ball away for a corner.
